How to Insert Images in PowerPoint

There are two main ways to insert images into your PowerPoint; you can simply paste an image from your clipboard, or import a picture from a file on your computer.

○Pasting an image into PowerPoint is as simple as it sounds. Start by copying an image you find online to your clipboard (right click and choose "Copy" or "Copy Image.")

○After copying, select the slide that you want to add the image to. To paste the image, use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl / Cmd + V), or right click and choose the picture icon to paste your image in.

○You can right click on a slide and choose Picture from the paste options to paste in your image.



○To Insert from your computer, go to the Insert tab on PowerPoint's ribbon. Click on the Pictures button to open the file browser.

○Choose Insert > Pictures on PowerPoint's ribbon, then browse to and choose the images you want to insert.

○Click on Insert to add them to your current slide.

To change the default picture compression for the current slide/presentation, you should click File -> Options ->Advanced.-> Image Size and Quality
You have 2 options here to get a higher quality. Check the option Do not compress images in file or change the default resolution from 96 ppi to for example to 220 ppi, 330 ppi or choose high fidelity. Click OK to close the options form and this setting will be saved with this presentation.

So this works fine for this presentation, but you will probably forget to do this change for the next presentations. There is another option to make it change permanently.

To avoid distort image customize the size of the image. First Go to ‘Size’ option in the Format tab of PowerPoint ribbon. Then type the size of the image.

One way po para di masira yung text format is i-wrap text nyo po yung pictures. or pwede ring nakaseparate ang text sa slide through text box

you cannot fix low resolotion in ppt. instead use a picture that has high quality

or you can also adjust the size of your image so it wont affect the text format
